Where can an aggrieved party appeal a ruling of a Constitutional Commission?

An aggrieved party is not without legal recourse following an adverse decision by a Commission. Any final decision, order, or ruling may be elevated directly to the Supreme Court. The appeal must be made on certiorari within thirty days from the receipt of the ruling. This appellate remedy and jurisdiction is outlined in Article IX, A, Section 7 1987 Philippine Constitution. “Unless otherwise provided by this Constitution or by law, any decision, order, or ruling of each Commission may be brought to the Supreme Court on certiorari by the aggrieved party within thirty days from receipt of a copy thereof.” 06-Mar-26
