What constitutes the first form of Slight physical injuries, and what is the penalty?
The first form of slight physical injuries involves physical harm that incapacitates the offended party for labor from one to nine days (Article 266, Revised Penal Code). Alternatively, this classification is met if the injuries require medical attendance during the same period of one to nine days. When the offender has inflicted physical injuries fitting this definition, the crime is penalized by arresto menor.
