The basic crime of Qualified trespass to dwelling is committed by any private person who shall enter the dwelling of another against the latter’s will (Article 280, Revised Penal Code). The entry must be against the express or presumed prohibition of the owner or occupant. The standard penalty prescribed for this offense is arresto mayor and a fine not exceeding Two hundred thousand pesos (P200,000).
