Is it possible to include several industrial designs in a single registration application?

Yes, two or more industrial designs can be included in the same application under certain conditions. Section 115 Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines specifies that these designs must relate to the same sub-class of the International Classification. Alternatively, they may be part of the same set or composition of articles. This provision allows for more efficient filing for related designs within a single product line.   “SEC. 115. Several Industrial Designs in One Application. – Two (2) or more industrial designs may be the subject of the same application: Provided, That they relate to the same sub-class of the International Classification or to the same set or composition of articles.”   January 3, 2026
