Is it possible for actual apprentice training to happen at a government center?
The law explicitly allows for government facilities to be utilized for the practical aspects of apprenticeship training. Sponsors are not strictly required to use private company premises for the duration of the educational program. Actual training of apprentices may be properly undertaken in a Department of Labor and Employment training center. Additionally, other public training institutions can serve as the venue, as authorized by Article 64 Labor Code of the Philippines. “(c) In a Department of Labor and Employment training center or other public training institution.” 31-May-26About Nicolas and De Vega Law Offices
