Can a Senator or Representative hold other government offices? No Senator or House Member may hold any other office or employment in the Government. This prohibition includes positions in subdivisions, agencies, instrumentalities, and government-owned corporations. Holding such an office results in the forfeiture of their legislative seat. This restriction is cited in Article VI, Section 13 1987 Philippine Constitution. “SECTION 13.
