Where can an apprenticeship program be conducted if a sponsoring firm wants full control?

A sponsoring firm that wishes to maintain full control over the training process has a specific venue option available. The law allows the apprenticeship to be conducted entirely by and within the sponsoring firm, establishment, or entity. This ensures that the apprentice receives hands-on experience directly aligned with the company’s daily operations. This particular venue option is explicitly recognized and authorized under Article 63 Labor Code of the Philippines. “ART. 63. Venue of Apprenticeship Programs. – Any firm, employer, group or association, industry organization or civic group wishing to organize an apprenticeship program may choose from any of the following apprenticeship schemes as the training venue for apprentice: (a) Apprenticeship conducted entirely by and within the sponsoring firm, establishment or entity;” 31-May-26
