What is the term limit for the Vice-President?
The Vice-President is subject to different term limit rules compared to the President. They are allowed to serve for a maximum of two consecutive terms in office. Any voluntary renunciation of the office does not count as an interruption of service. After reaching this limit, they cannot serve as Vice-President again until a term has passed. Article VII Section 4 1987 Philippine Constitution “No Vice-President shall serve for more than two consecutive terms. Voluntary renunciation of the office for any length of time shall not be considered as an interruption in the continuity of the service for the full term for which he was elected.” 03-Feb-26About Nicolas and De Vega Law Offices
