What is the status of appointments made by an Acting President?

Appointments made by an individual serving as Acting President are considered temporary in nature. They remain effective unless the elected President decides to revoke them upon returning to office. The elected President has ninety days from their assumption of office to make this decision. This ensures the permanent leader can form their own team of officials. Article VII Section 14 1987 Philippine Constitution   “SECTION 14. Appointments extended by an Acting President shall remain effective, unless revoked by the elected President within ninety days from his assumption or reassumption of office.”   03-Feb-26
