What is the penalty for a person who furnishes the place for the perpetration of the crime of slight illegal detention?
Anyone who furnishes the place for the perpetration of the crime of slight illegal detention shall incur the same penalty as the principal offender (Article 268, Revised Penal Code). Therefore, the individual who provides the premises is also subject to the penalty of reclusion temporal. This extends liability to those who materially enable the crime, even if they do not actively participate in the detention itself.
