What is the maximum deadline for withdrawing a request for voluntary dissolution (where no creditors are affected)?

A withdrawal of the request for dissolution must be made in writing, duly verified by an incorporator, director, trustee, shareholder, or member (SEC. 137, Revised Corporation Code of the Philippines). The withdrawal must be submitted no later than fifteen (15) days from receipt by the SEC of the request for dissolution. Upon receiving the withdrawal, the SEC shall withhold action on the original request and, after investigation, may either pronounce the request as withdrawn or direct a joint meeting of the board and stockholders to ascertain whether to proceed with the dissolution. This short window ensures that the process remains streamlined and prevents delayed cancellation of the application.
