What information must be specified in the agreement to revive the former property regime after reconciliation?

An agreement to revive a marital property regime requires detailed and highly specific financial disclosures to be valid. It must specify the properties to be contributed anew and those to be retained as separate properties. It must also accurately list the names of all known creditors, their exact addresses, and the amounts owed. These strict disclosure requirements are legally enforced under Article 67 Family Code of the Philippines. “Art. 67. The agreement to revive the former property regime referred to in the preceding Article shall be executed under oath and shall specify: (1) The properties to be contributed anew to the restored regime; (2) Those to be retained as separate properties of each spouse; and (3) The names of all their known creditors, their addresses and the amounts owing to each.” 31-Jul-26
