What happens if an impeachment complaint is directly filed by at least one-third of all House Members?
If the verified complaint or resolution of impeachment is filed by at least one-third of all House Members, it bypasses the committee reporting process. The complaint itself shall immediately constitute the Articles of Impeachment. Following this, the trial by the Senate shall forthwith proceed without further delay in the House.
