What can a patentee recover in a civil action for infringement?
A patentee may bring a civil action to recover damages sustained due to the infringement. They are also entitled to recover attorney’s fees and other expenses of the litigation. Additionally, the court may grant an injunction to protect the patentee’s rights. These remedies are available under Section 76 Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines. “76.2.
