What additional penalty is imposed on an alien who is found guilty of violating the penal provisions of the Labor Code?

An alien worker or employer operating in the Philippines is subject to the same labor laws and corresponding penalties as citizens,. If an alien is found guilty of a criminal offense under the Labor Code, they face the standard fines and imprisonment. However, the law imposes an additional severe consequence specifically for foreign nationals. In addition to the primary penalties, any guilty alien shall be summarily deported upon the completion of their sentence. This strict consequence is outlined in Article 303 Labor Code of the Philippines. “In addition to such penalty, any alien found guilty shall be summarily deported upon completion of service of sentence.” 02-Jun-26
