How much should a father or mother give for child support?
There is NO exact mathematical formula or amount required by law to be given by a father or mother to his /her child for support. Instead, Article 201 of the Family Code enunciates that the amount of support shall be in proportion to the resources or means of the giver AND to the necessities of the recipient.
