How long will the parents provide support to their children?
The father and mother of a child is obliged to provide support while the child is a minor (under 18 years of age). However, even if the child is not a minor anymore, he or she should be supported by his or her parents if the support pertains to education, schooling or training for some profession, trade or vocation, including the transportation costs pursuant to Art. 194 of the Family Code.
