How does the law define “reproduction”?
Reproduction is the act of making one or more copies of a work or sound recording in any manner or form. Section 171.9 Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines clarifies that these copies can be temporary or permanent. The process can involve the whole work or a substantial portion thereof.
