When can a technology transfer arrangement be exempted from standard requirements?
Exemptions may be allowed in exceptional cases where the arrangement provides substantial benefits to the economy. This includes high technology content or significant increases in foreign exchange earnings. The Bureau evaluates these meritorious cases on a case-by-case basis.
