What is the punishment for violations of the Code that are not specifically penalized elsewhere?
Violations of any of the other provisions of this Code or its amendments that are not otherwise specifically penalized shall be punished by a fine of not less than Ten thousand pesos (P10,000.00) but not more than One million pesos (P1,000,000.00) (SEC. 170, Revised Corporation Code of the Philippines). If the violation is committed by a corporation, the entity may, after notice and hearing, be dissolved in appropriate proceedings before the SEC. This dissolution does not preclude the institution of appropriate action against the responsible director, trustee, or officer of the corporation. Liability for this offense is separate from any other administrative, civil, or criminal liability under the Code and other laws.
