What is the penalty for duel participants when no physical injuries have been inflicted?
In cases where no physical injuries whatsoever have been inflicted during the duel, the combatants shall still suffer a penalty (Article 260, Revised Penal Code). The penalty imposed upon the combatants in any other case, meaning when no injuries result, is arresto mayor. Furthermore, the seconds involved in the duel, who act as assistants to the combatants, shall in all events be punished as accomplices.
