What are the restrictions on adjournment for the two Houses?

What are the restrictions on adjournment for the two Houses?   During sessions, neither House can adjourn for more than three days without the other’s consent. They also cannot move the session to any place other than where the two Houses are sitting. This ensures that the two chambers work in coordination. This restriction is stated in Article VI, Section 16 5 1987 Philippine Constitution.   “(5) Neither House during the sessions of the Congress shall, without the consent of the other, adjourn for more than three days, nor to any other place than that in which the two Houses shall be sitting.”   01-Feb-26
