What are the professional qualifications required for Members of the Commission on Audit?
The Constitution mandates highly specific professional backgrounds for the leadership of the audit commission. Members must be either certified public accountants with ten years of auditing experience or members of the Philippine Bar with ten years of practice. To ensure diverse expertise, at no time shall all Members belong to the exact same profession.
