Atty. Simon V. Lao, our Of Counsel for Japan, obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law, where he graduated with Second Honors. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in European Studies with a minor in French from the same university. With 19 years of legal experience, Simon is a seasoned legal strategist recognized for delivering practical and innovative solutions in fast-moving, high-growth global environments.
Before joining NDV Law, Simon served as the Head of Legal of Canva Philippines. Like one of our founding partners, Simon also began his legal career at SyCip Salazar Hernandez & Gatmaitan.
Simon specializes in global intellectual property (IP), data privacy and corporate law.
