  The executive power of the government is specifically granted to a single official. This individual is the President of the Republic of the Philippines. This vesting of authority ensures a unified leadership in the execution of national policies. The President serves as both the head of state and the head of government. Article VII Section 1 1987 Philippine Constitution   “SECTION 1. The executive power shall be vested in the President of the Philippines.”   03-Feb-26
