  How long is the term for House of Representatives members?   Members of the House of Representatives serve for a term of three years. Their term commences at noon on the thirtieth day of June next following their election. This shorter term ensures that representatives remain closely accountable to their constituents’ immediate concerns. This term is defined in Article VI, Section 7 1987 Philippine Constitution.   “SECTION 7. The Members of the House of Representatives shall be elected for a term of three years which shall begin, unless otherwise provided by law, at noon on the thirtieth day of June next following their election.”   01-Feb-26
