How does the law define “daily-paid employees”?

Daily-paid employees are those who receive compensation only for the specific days they actually worked. This definition is established under Section 6, Chapter I of the Rules Implementing Republic Act No. 6727. In addition to worked days, they are also legally entitled to be paid for unworked regular holidays. Their monthly wage equivalent varies depending on whether they are required to work on rest days and special days. 15-May-26
